1. The guarantee
Every certified translation from Selládo LLC carries this guarantee: if USCIS — or any U.S. government authority, court, university, or credential evaluator — rejects our translation because of the translation's accuracy or its certification, we will correct and redeliver it free of charge. If our corrected version is also rejected on those grounds, we will refund 100% of what you paid for that translation.
To claim it: send us the rejection notice (RFE, letter, or email from the receiving institution) within 90 days of receiving it. We start the correction the same day.
2. What the guarantee covers — and doesn't
Covered: rejections citing translation errors, incomplete translation, or missing/defective translator certification. Also covered: our formatting errors, wrong document delivered, or our failure to deliver.
Not covered: rejections caused by the underlying document itself (wrong document type for the case, expired or superseded certificate, recency requirements), decisions about your case's merits, requirements unique to institutions that don't accept any third-party translation (rare, and we warn when we know), or changes you made to the translation after delivery.
3. Cancellations
Before work begins: full refund, no questions. Once translation is underway: we refund the portion of work not yet performed, with a minimum charge of one page. After delivery: refunds run through the guarantee above. Apostille orders: state and courier fees already incurred are non-refundable once disbursed; our service fee follows the same before/after logic.
4. Rush fees
If we miss a committed rush window for reasons within our control, the rush fee (the difference over standard pricing) is refunded automatically — you keep the translation.
5. How refunds are paid
To the original payment method via Stripe, within 5–10 business days of approval. We answer refund requests within one business day: selladotranslationsservices@gmail.com or WhatsApp +1 (619) 913-1044.
