1. Who we are
Selládo LLC ("Selládo", "we") operates selladousa.com, providing certified translation, notarized translation, and apostille services online across the United States. Contact for any privacy matter: selladotranslationsservices@gmail.com or +1 (619) 913-1044.
Selládo LLC is a document translation and apostille service. We are not a law firm, we are not attorneys, and we do not provide legal or immigration advice. Information on this website is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
2. What we collect
Documents you send us. To translate or apostille your documents we necessarily receive their contents — names, dates, places, identification numbers, and whatever else appears on them (including, when you send medical or court records, information that may be sensitive). You provide these voluntarily by WhatsApp, email, or upload form.
Contact information. Your name, email address, and phone/WhatsApp number, used to deliver your order and answer your questions.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card number never touches our servers; we receive only confirmation of payment and the last digits of the card. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Website analytics. Like most sites we use cookies and similar technologies (including Google tags for measuring advertising) that collect standard technical data: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. You can block cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to order by WhatsApp or email.
3. How we use it
To produce and deliver your translation or apostille; to communicate about your order; to keep records that accounting and tax law require; and to improve the site. That's the list.
We never sell your information. We never share your documents with third parties. The only people who see your documents are the Selládo team members working on your order. The narrow exceptions any business has: if a court order legally compels disclosure, or service providers strictly necessary to operate (e.g., Stripe for payments, our email provider for delivery) — none of whom receive your documents for any purpose beyond transmission and storage.
4. How we protect it
Documents travel over encrypted channels (WhatsApp end-to-end encryption; TLS for email and web). Access is limited to the translator and staff assigned to your order. We retain completed orders so you can re-request copies later — a service most clients want — but you may request permanent deletion of your documents at any time after delivery, and we will comply and confirm.
5. Your rights (including California / CCPA)
Anyone may ask us: what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it — email selladotranslationsservices@gmail.com and we respond within 30 days.
California residents additionally have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA): the right to know the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes (listed above), the right to deletion, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (moot here — we sell nothing), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise any CCPA right, use the same email; we may verify your identity before acting.
6. Data of minors
Our services are contracted by adults. We translate documents that concern minors (birth certificates, school records) only as part of an order placed by a parent, guardian, or their representative — and such documents receive the same protections as everything else.
7. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top; material changes will be flagged on this page. Questions? selladotranslationsservices@gmail.com — a human reads it.
